Does anyone still read this thing?

It's been over 3 months since we last updated this thing. In fairness, we haven't done much. Just played 2 awesome shows with some of our best friends... no big deal! As it stands, we currently have TWO shows. And that's it. That's not to say we don't want to play, we just have some real life coming up in May which prevents us from doing anything, really. But yeah, I'm sure we'll be back in action fully once May is over and done with so if you want us to play chuck us some mails: dividersuk@hotmail.com

Our two upcoming shows are these babies...

Oh, and expect new songs once we return in June / July (maybe). Hell, we might even have a FUCKING ALBUM out by the end of this year... FINGERS CROSSED.

BIG BIG NEWS UPDATE!!!

It's been a long time since we posted something on here. I guess it sort of was forgotten about it. It was probably for the best, because now we have LOADS to talk about...

First of all, in August we recorded some songs with our buddy Dan Angelow in his studio in Swansea. I'm sure that has already been mentioned on here before, right? 2 of the songs we recorded are going to be on a split with Timeshares from New York, as part of the All In Vinyl series. You can now preorder that split from All In Vinyl for a low price of just £3.50! GO DO THAT. It's limited to 100 on red (subscriptions only), and 200 on white!

The split with Timeshares itself is currently being streamed over at Punknews... y'know, if you wanna "try before you buy" or whatever. You can download the split for free / pay what you want (lol, jk we don't want your stinking money) from our bandcamp page. Indulge in that shit.

We also recorded another 2 songs which are going to be on a single sided screenprinted 7 inch called "Anjelica Huston: We Have A Problem" released by Something New Records (UK) and Angry Chuck Records (Russia). This is going to be released in December, and to celebrate we're going to be having a shindig with our best friends in Pipedream, Muncie Girls and Martha. More details on that as soon as we know it! The preorder will be up over at Something New as soon as we get the artwork and shit finalised. You can hear a track from it below...

It's pretty cold out at the moment, isn't it? Then why not order yourself a lovely a warm and snuggly crew neck designed by Carly Davies?
(sorry about the shitty photoshop job, okay?)

A load of people asked us about getting this design reprinted, so we decided to go ahead with it... on crew necks! We've put up a preorder for these because we don't know how many of what sizes to get (not because we're broke - because for once we aren't!). They'll go off sale on the 16th November, and with any luck will be sent out at the end of November! Buy one now from out BigCartel for just £11!

I think that's everything. More news on shows and shit when we get it. SAFE. xoxo

Meeeeehh

So the other day we recorded our songs for the upcoming split with Timeshares (for the All In Vinyl Series) with Dan Angelow in Swansea. Here is one of the tracks which we've been playing live for over a year now, so you might recognise it! Tom from Pipedream begged and pleaded with us to let him sing in the second verse, so we let him. Apparently it's his life ambition to be on every band in South Wales' recordings or something... I dunno.

Anyways, the split will be out in October if all goes to plan, just in time for Fest. We'll probably post the entire thing online in the next few weeks, for free ofcourse!

Tour was too awesome!

I can’t believe it’s taken me nearly a week to post this, but fuck, tour was so amazing. It was without a doubt the best tour we’ve ever been on, so thanks a lot to everyone that helped it happen.
First of all, thanks to Rich from 7 records for letting us borrow his van and being a true gent. More people should check out and support his label, he’s put out a load of great records! Secondly, thanks to the nicest northerners in the whole of the UK, Glass Avalanche for keeping us in line, and arriving at the venues to supply backline 2 hours before we arrived (because our Van refused to go over 50mph). Without them the whole tour would have been a shambles. Mad props to Rob Bradbury for keeping me updated with “the plan”. Massive thanks also go out to South Wales’ best band, Pipedream, for putting up with our shit once Glass Avalanche had left us! Seeing BT naked will NEVER get old.
Cheers to all the promoters that put us on and made us food and forced weed down our throats: Owen, Rhi, Gar, and all at STHC, Sean Sheehy, Kev Fenton and Patrycja Sucharska, Daz Clark and Lester, Rosie and Rob, Adam Parker, Lewis Bloor, and Sophie Porter!
Also, check out all these bands: Hipflask, Caves, T-shirt Weather (I’m gutted we missed them because we were late, but they’re a great great band regardless!), The Cut Ups, Above Them, Bear Trade, Farman, Muncie Girls, Victory Points, Bouquet, Gnarwolves, Rad Medicine, All The Best Tapes, Sophie Porter and Ducking Punches (or Punctures).

EDIT: Thanks to Dai Hughes for lending us one of his awesome custom made kits too!
EDIT: Thanks Tris too for selling our merch and waking up some neighbours in Birmingham by playing Pantera full blast in the van in the early hours...

Live Fast, Bald Young

Yo, here's our new shirt. Grab one from us on tour, eh? All you Big Cartel posers can grab one afterwards (if there are any left). Cheers Will Exley for being the best and drawing this shit up in just ONE NIGHT.
